This is a short list of the various places I like to snoop around for good deals on the churchills and double-coronas that I buy:
- Cigar.com – Currently my first choice. I’m a member of their Cigar-of-the-Month club and a big fan of their samplers, one-day specials and weekend blitz salses.
- Cigars International – They have a rather large selection.
- Thompson Cigar Co. – A well-known cigar and pipe seller, very well-stocked.
- CheaperCigars.com – Not the greatest service, but often times carries items the other stores don’t have.
- Bonita Smoke Shop – The very first online store I purchased cigars from. Large selection and excellent customer service.
- CigarBid – I haven’t shopped here yet, but my roommate, and others, swear by the deals they get.
- CheapHumidors.com – While this site specializes in humidors and humidification systems, there are also some excellent deals on cigars and cigar samplers.
If you don’t know a whole lot about cigars and what comes with them, (etiquette, brands, sizes, etc.,) then check out the forums on your cigar site of choice, or head on over to a place like Cigar Pass or Cigar Aficionado and read some articles, join the forums, and generally get to know what it is, exactly, you’re puffing on.
On Cubans
The following links provide information about obtaining Cuban cigars from international resellers. For Pete’s sake, read the legal disclaimers on these sites before submitting your credit card information! While it’s perfectly legal to purchase things from Geneva, Switzerland, I will not be answering angry emails about “technically illegal products” or about anyone’s newly-found troubles with the FBI. Browse freely, shop with caution.
