I’ve been looking at these for a while, and I finally got around to compiling a list to share.

I’ve been reading quite a few people’s blogs lately, along with a lot of other articles, and I have to say that it’s making my head hurt. Honestly, there are some people out there that should simply never breed. Let me illustrate a few examples:
FROM STNG WIRE REPORTS
A North Side high school has been evacuated as a precaution after a chemical was found in the school Monday morning.
A Level 1 HazMat situation was called about 10:45 a.m. at Senn High School at 5900 N. Glenwood Ave., according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Quention Curtis.
The school was evacuated as a precaution after a chemical believed to be chlorine was found near the pool, Curtis said.
No injuries have been reported but crews remain on the scene as of 11:05 a.m.
With that, my head hurts. I’m going to take three martinis and lay down.
Because it not only means that I get to burn through physics, but I also get to fry my brain with stuff like this when I decide what other classes to take at Berkeley:
So, say goodbye now and hope that the only color my hair turns is white. What’s worse, my friends and family fear for their lives at the prospect of a particular double-major I’m thinking about. (The second one, that’s the choice that makes my loved ones wake up screaming in the night.)
Well, this is my first posting on this blog. I’m starting out with a brief overview of what I’m doing, what’s happened so far, and why I’m writing this.
First off, let’s start with what I’m doing. This blog will serve as my journal of thoughts as I go through “Da Plan” to put my professional and academic life back on track. Some of the things I intend to do over the next few months/years include working on a few IT certifications, wrapping up a pair of Associate’s degrees from College of Marin, and getting myself back on track with a transfer-degree to UC Berkeley. There is also a health-matter that requires me to start thinking seriously about taking care of myself; eating healthier, working out, the whole bit. More about that later.
So, how did I get here? It’s simple really, through lots of slacking and procrastinating. For the past eight years, I’ve been caught up in personal issues, daydreams of going back to school, and excuses to no end. Recently, I made a serious attempt to get back on track with school, ending up having to drop all my classes for a semester, right after getting a terrible grade in a calculus class, for the reason of getting caught up in even more stress than usual. So, now that my plan has been pushed back, and I have to wait an additional year to transfer to the UC, no matter what, I’ve decided to keep a record of my progress in order to stay focused and record my successes. . . and failures.
